Our founders, Colbert Coldwell and Benjamin Arthur Banker built Coldwell Banker by helping those in need in the aftermath of the great San Francisco earthquake 100 years ago. Today, through the efforts of all the Coldwell Banker staff and affiliates we are able to carry on that legacy of helping others in our communities.

GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE SOCIETY

Coldwell Banker NSW/ACT first became aware of the Golden Retriever Rescue Society (GRR) through one of its vendors in Sydney. We felt immediate affinity with the organisation because Rex, the mascot of our own 'Personal Retriever' e-marketing system, is a 'Goldie'.

GRR was formed by two ladies, Trisha and Wendy, who quickly realised upon meeting that they shared a passion for these delightful canines. A chance meeting with an officer of the RSPCA soon saw Trisha and Wendy become involved in the rescue and relocation of abused and neglected animals... Golden Retrievers in desperate need started coming from everywhere. Hence, GRR was born.

Unfortunately, rescues do not come without cost. There is food to supply, vet care (and in some cases, hospitalisation), transportation and hosting expenses... GRR was almost out of resources when we found them.

Coldwell Banker NSW/ACT is proud to be the founding sponsor of the Golden Retriver Rescue Society. With people like Trisha, Wendy and their network of carers on on the job, we know our Golden friends are in good hands.
